A Broken Heart

Did you know that Le Crueset could break?

Neither did I.

What? How did that happen? I have never seen anything like that. How sad. I used to work at a cooking store and I know Le Creuset has a warranty on all of their product. You have to call them for pre-approval before sending it back to them. It all depends on how it happened.
Le Creseut has a outlet store in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Prices are good.
Good Luck.

I was really sad. It was a week before Thanksgiving and that is an important pan in my cooking accouterments. My sweet husband convinced me to just buy a new one, so I got a 5 1/2 round french oven in Chestnut. It is gorgeous.

I did not!!!! That IS heartbreaking! I had no idea. I have a small saucepan that was my ex's aunt's; it must be 40+ years old and is fine. I also have an enormous 9+ quart French oven that my husband got me a couple of years ago -- now I'm worried!

So sorry.
